To all Eagles members and supporters
On Wednesday June 16th, the Eagles Annual General Meeting was held at the Kambah Scout Hall. At this meeting, your 2015/16 Committee was dissolved and nominations for a new committee to take the Eagles into the 2016/17 season, were called-for.
Before detailing those positions that were filled, I wish to say that there are a number of critical positions that remain unfilled. I ask everyone, therefore, to assess their capacity to assist the club over this coming season through a willingness to assist as a member of the committee.
I know there are many people who already commit in a variety of ways; as coaches, scorers, set-up personnel, umpires and canteen operators. The Club, however, cannot just function on this hope of good will alone in the absence of people allocated as part of its management structure - people charged with making sound and reasoned decisions that affect the direction of the Eagles Baseball Club.

) indicating your ability to assist with the Club. At the end of the day, you, the Eagles players, members and families speak through your actions. I ask that, if you have some capacity, you do not remain silent.
There will be many tasks between now and the season start (early October) that will need to be addressed. Registrations; field maintenance; decisions on imports; team structures; equipment and uniform reviews; vulnerable people registrations; fundraising ... to name but a few. It can only occur if you want it to occur. If everyone does a little bit, life is a lot easier.
As a priority, we must have a Secretary. All positions are important, but some are more vital - I think you understand.
